Government has been challenged not to just launch good policies and strategies that just gather dust at Capital Hill, but follow up with implementation.
Director of knowledge and learning at National Planning Commission ( NPC) Joseph Nagoli made the remarks on Monday during the launch of Policy Digest Platform on its website.
The Policy Digest is a catalogue of various national policies, strategies and plans of government that are presently guiding the country’s development programmes.
The platform is aimed at providing a One-Stop-Window for public policy documents in the country to ensure ease of access by various stakeholders, both local and international.
Nagoli pointed out that some government offices still have policies that are left idle and are not accessible.
The director however, said the launch of the Policy Digest will improve accessibility of all such policies and strategies saying 90 percent of the documents have been uploaded on the website: www.npc.mw
