Zikhale says Malawi’s southern region embracing MCP more and more

Zikhale Ng'oma and Brown Mpinganjira

Zikhale states that the Malawi Congress Party (MCP) is gaining increasing support in the southern region of Malawi. Kenneth Zikhale Ng’oma, a prominent MCP politician serving as the National Director of Strategic Planning and Homeland Security Minister, has been actively engaging in a series of party meetings in the southern region. Recently, Zikhale, along with veteran politician Brown Mpinganjira and other high-ranking officials, organized a political rally at Nyambadwe Primary School ground in Blantyre.

Upon Zikhale’s arrival at the rally, he was greeted with cheers and excitement from the large crowd eager to hear the message of hope from President Chakwera. Zikhale’s efforts in the southern region have garnered praise in political circles for revitalizing the MCP, particularly by challenging the dominance of the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP), which has traditionally held strong support in the region. As a result of Zikhale’s astute political strategy, the fortunes of the MCP are gradually shifting in their favor in the southern region.
