The ruling Malawi Congress Party of the Tonse Alliance formation has scheduled a development rally this weekend, Saturday 24th June, 2023 in Monkey-Bay at Cape Maclear ground.
The rally will be hosted by Honorable Gerald Kazembe, Deputy Secretary General of the MCP with Guest speakers Honorable Abida Mia, Minister of Water and Sanitation and Honorable Richard Chimwendo Banda, Minister of Local Government. Other speakers will be Honorable Ntandama, Honorable Hassan and Honorable Omar Kaisi.
The Black Missionaries band from Chileka will provide music entertainment during the rally. MCP appears is repositioning itself politically ahead of the 2025 election.
