In a poignant display of spiritual leadership, Malawi’s Pastor President, Reverend Dr. Lazarus Chakwera, gracefully guided the nation through the solemn journey of the way of the cross on Friday. The sacred event unfolded in the heart of the capital, Lilongwe, with the main prayer function at Botanic Garden.

Addressing the gathered assembly, President Chakwera exhorted the nation to remain steadfast, placing their trust in divine providence to illuminate the path forward amidst the myriad challenges confronting the country.

The President invoked a message of resilience, urging Christians to cling to hope as a beacon guiding them through turbulent times. Despite enduring trials such as floods, diseases, and droughts, the President instilled a steadfast belief that from the ashes of adversity, a reinvigorated Malawi shall arise.
