Silver Strikers FC fondly known as the bankers have fired head coach Peiter De Jongh from his position effective 26th January 2024.
In a statement released by the club recounts that De Jongh joined Silver Strikers Football Club in February 2023 and was an integral part of our Technical team.
“The decision to part ways with Mr. De Jongh was made after a thorough evaluation of the team’s performance against set targets and obligations. While we appreciate the efforts and dedication Mr. De Jongh has shown during his tenure with the club, the decision to part ways has been made in the best interest of the club’s future objectives and aspirations,” in part reads the statement.
According to the statement, the Club is committed to build a competitive team and will soon begin the process of selecting a new Head Coach.
“The search for a suitable candidate will be conducted with the utmost care and consideration to ensure that the club continues to progress and achieve its set goals. The Club would like to assure our stakeholders that we remain dedicated to success on and off the field. We appreciate your continued support during this transition period. The Club further extends its gratitude to Mr. De Jongh for his contributions and wishes him success in his future endeavors,” concludes the statement.
