Malawi Pres. Chakwera instills optimism in the fight against hunger: Mega Farms harvest by Nov.

President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera has stated that the government has gathered the necessary resources to implement large-scale farming initiatives, aimed at addressing the issue of hunger in the nation. Chakwera made this assurance during an a rally he addressed at Simbi Primary School Ground yesterday  in the jurisdiction of Senior Chief Chakhadza in Dowa.

Chakwera acknowledged the challenges that the country is currently facing. He emphasized that addressing these challenges requires united and coordinated efforts to propel the nation forward. Chakwera revealed that the government possesses the resources needed to establish extensive farms, and he is committed to ensuring that the first harvest from these efforts is realized by November of this year.

Furthermore, Chakwera highlighted the importance of individuals like Napoleon Dzombe, who engage in constructive thinking, in order for Malawi to achieve its aspirations as outlined in the Malawi 2063 vision. He stressed that an attitude of undermining progress will not be beneficial for the country’s development.
