A taxi driver from Lilongwe, Kondwani Khusa, has become a millionaire overnight after winning the K24 million jackpot 13 on Premier Bet.
After betting K480, Khusa won the weekly jackpot number 13.
Khusa expressed his joy at being the first winner and for becoming a millionaire in the blink of an eye by properly guessing 13 games as necessary.
Kondwani Khusa, a 29-year-old man, comes from Chiphe Village in the Chiseka Traditional Authority.
Meanwhile, Daniel Fachie, the Lilongwe manager for Premier Bet, expressed hope that the money won would significantly improve Khusa’s situation.
The Jackpot 13 games are played in pairs, and the total prize pool is 48 million Kwacha, which was split with another Angolan winner.
The games are held Monday through Friday in all Premier Bet countries, which include Cameroon, Angola, Malawi, and Tanzania.
