The most celebrated one time leader of opposition and President of the then opposition Malawi Congress Party (MCP) John Tembo has died, son to Tembo, John Tembo Jnr has confirmed.
The death follows the worsening health condition of the veteran MCP leader who slipped into a coma with doctors trying to resuscitate him at a private clinic in the capital Lilongwe.
JZU as he was popularly known recently celebrated his 90th birthday.
