The University of Malawi (Unima) has partnered with global ed-tech company, Astria Learning, to introduce the E-Campus, offering 100 percent online higher education.
This initiative expands Unima’s educational reach beyond its physical campus in Zomba. Professor Samson Sajidu, Unima’s Vice Chancellor, expressed excitement about the launch, emphasizing that e-learning is not merely a trend but a necessity.
He highlighted the benefits of accessibility, flexibility, cost-effectiveness, and the wide-ranging advantages it provides for learners of diverse ages and backgrounds.
Sajidu noted that e-learning promotes lifelong learning, crucial for personal and professional development in the contemporary world.
