The Gangata-Chisale Connection: A Tale of Fraud, Power, and Corruption Unraveling Before Our Eyes!

Gangata: Arrested

It’s often said that birds of a feather flock together, and nowhere is this more evident than in the scandalous partnership between Alfred Gangata and Norman Chisale. Wherever Gangata was, Chisale was never far behind. Now, the dark truth binding these two is emerging. Gangata has been arrested by the Malawi Police Service today on explosive allegations of fraudulently obtaining an MSCE certificate from Chitowo Secondary School in Dedza—without ever setting foot in the school or registering for exams.

This raises alarming accusations of forgery, eerily similar to the charges facing his partner-in-crime, Norman Chisale, who is currently battling allegations in the courts for using another person’s MSCE certificate. The pair’s corrupt dealings are unraveling like a twisted web of deceit, with their cases painting a sordid picture of dishonesty at the highest levels.

Gangata is no stranger to controversy. He once shamelessly told Brian Banda on Times Exclusive that no one ever gets rich without crooked means, a chilling admission from a man who has made headlines for his lavish wealth. His words revealed a man willing to bend or break the rules, inside or outside the law, to get what he wants.

But the rot doesn’t end there—Gangata is also implicated in a scandal that has tainted High Court Judge Kenan Manda, who allegedly delivered a corrupt judgement allowing Gangata to sell a filling station in Lilongwe under dubious circumstances. Dublin-based Malawian anti-corruption crusader Alexious Kamangira is hot on the trail, determined to ensure the judge faces consequences if the corruption is proven.

These are the individuals positioning themselves as the future leaders of Malawi—a future that appears increasingly dark if such figures, devoid of any integrity, are allowed to rise. The question now is, will Malawians tolerate the unchecked ambition and corruption of these power-hungry figures? Only time will tell.
