The Solicitor General and Secretary for the Ministry of Justice Mr Reyneck Matemba has pleaded Malawians to take a step and end sexual and Gender Based Violence (GBV) cases in the country.
Speaking in Lilongwe when the ministry through Director of Public Prosecution (Dpp) signed a memorandum of understanding with Youth Net and Counseling (Yuneco), Matemba urged stakeholders to complement government efforts in the fight against sexual or GBV cases in the country.
The MoU is aimed at providing the better coordination of the relationship between YUNECO and DPP and improve access to Justice as well as post victim support to survivors through safe house and psychological support.
