On Thursday afternoon, Malawi President Lazarus Chakwera arrived in Blantyre via Chileka International Airport. During his visit to the Southern Region, he is scheduled to oversee a pass-out parade at Limbe Police Training on Friday.
Citizens and spectators lined the streets from the airport to the city center to catch a glimpse of the president.
Accompanied by the First Lady of Malawi, Madam Monica Chakwera, the President was greeted upon arrival at Chileka International Airport by senior government officials, traditional leaders, and party supporters.
