Jomo smiles as his Ntopwa Women’s FC secures Kukoma Oil Sponsorship

Kukoma Deal Signed

Good news for Ntopwa Women’s Football Club owner, Isaac Jomo Osman, as his Blantyre-based women’s football team, Ntopwa Super Queens, has secured a K20 million sponsorship from Capital Oil Refining Industries (CORI) through their cooking oil brand, Kukoma. As a result, the team will now be known as Kukoma Ntopwa Women’s Football Club.

Violet Kapolo, CORI’s Sponsorship Coordinator, announced in Blantyre that the sponsorship agreement will initially last for one year, with the possibility of renewal. She explained that their company chose to sponsor the national women’s football champions because their cooking oil brand is closely associated with women.

Isaac Jomo Osman expressed his gratitude for the CORI sponsorship, emphasizing that it provides significant motivation for the club’s players and officials, many of whom receive little recognition for their achievements.
