The prestigious Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) Entertainers of the Year Award, once a prominent event, has experienced a revival, attracting support from esteemed companies like Malawi Airlines. The airline has generously contributed five air tickets to MBC for this year’s Entertainers of The Year event.
During a symbolic handover ceremony in Lilongwe, Charles Ng’ambi, Head of Commercial at Malawi Airlines, emphasized the shared vision of serving the people of Malawi between MBC and Malawi Airlines. Ng’ambi expressed gratitude to Malawians through this donation.
Takondwa Jumbe, MBC’s Regional Controller (Centre), commended Malawi Airlines for their support, noting that the donation strengthens the brand association of Entertainers of the Year with the willingness of Malawians to engage.
The donated tickets will serve as prizes for the talented entertainers of the year, with the event scheduled for the upcoming Saturday, December 30, at BICC in Lilongwe.
