Zikhale Ng’oma led Malawian delegation attends security conference in Russia

Zikhale Ng'oma

Notwithstanding the Pariah state status that Russsia is attaining for war mongering in Ukraine, Minister of Homeland Security Kenneth Zikhale Ng’oma has still led a delegation from Malawi to attend the eleventh international meeting of high-ranking representatives responsible for security issues in Moscow, Russia.

The delegation includes Oliver Kumbambe, the Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Homeland Security, Hon. Ralph Jooma, and Chairperson of the parliamentary committee on Security, and Mrs. Merlyn Yolam, Inspector General of the Malawi Police Service.

The purpose of the delegation’s visit is to participate in high-level discussions with heads of other countries on security matters. Given the context of war mongering Russia bombardments in Ukraine, it is likely that the discussions will cover a range of security issues of global concern. The conference is scheduled to take place from Tuesday, May 23rd to Thursday, May 25th, 2023.
