People in Dedza Central Constituency have currently started voting in a by-election to replace the fallen member of Parliament Daniel Chiwere.
Chiwere was Malawi Congress Party (MCP) member of Parliament when he died. There are three candidates namely Jacob Kapindula Kaumphawi, an independent candidate, Willard Gwengwe representing the MCP and Andrew Kowedza under the ticket of the Democratic Progressive Party.
So far the voting has commenced very well.
