Following the death of Dedza Central Constituency member of Parliament Daniel Chiwere, Sosten Gwengwe elder brother, Willard, once a member of Parliament for Lilongwe East but lost in the 2019 elections, have made a political rebound by announcing his bid to contest for vacant seat in the constituency.
The older brother has since taken a bold move officially announcing his ambition to the people. During a rally he organized recently, Gwengwe says he is coming to serve the people and strengthen the people. Being a veteran politician and Dedza being predominantly MCP, Gwengwe is highly likely to secure a seat in the national assembly again.
