Oil-rich Nigeria hit by fuel crisis

 

As Malawi is grappling with fuel supply imbalances against demand, the situation is not even any better in oil-rich western country – Nigeria, particularly in it Ilorin city.

Apart from hike in prices of commodity and transportation, people had to sleep at the filling stations and staying indoors where alternative mobility could not be achieved.

A government official who offered an explained shifted the blame on the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), saying they were not up to the task.

“What I see is that we don’t love ourselves in this country and keep blaming the government, and we failed to realize that we are all government,” he said in remarks that only fell short of location to describe National Oil Company of Malawi (Nocma) where sabotage is smelling high and strong.
