Ulemu Msungama, the Member of Parliament for the Lilongwe City South East constituency, presented an ambulance on Thursday, aimed at serving the residents of Area 23, Kaliyeka, Chipasula, Chilinde, Area 44, and Gologota. During the handover event held at the constituency office, Msungama explained that he decided to procure the ambulance in response to the considerable mobility difficulties experienced by the community in this area. He urged the local residents to take good care of the ambulance.
Msungama expressed his appreciation for President Chakwera’s vision of improving the living conditions in Malawi. In addition to the ambulance, Msungama also provided a 2-ton vehicle for use by the constituency members during party-related activities. Chiefs and party officials have praised Msungama for this timely donation, recognizing that the vehicles will greatly alleviate mobility challenges.
