Minister of Water and Sanitation Abida Sidik Mia on Monday expressed gratitude to Pacific Borehole Rehabilitation Project which is being implemented by Mr. Faizal Aboo for rehabilitating seven thousand boreholes in 116 Constituencies across the country.
The Minister thanked Aboo in the Lower Shire where they are currently rehabilitating boreholes in constituencies that side.
“As Minister of Water and Sanitation, I salute Pacific Borehole Rehabilitation Project for being one of the true partners in the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) sector in the country. The initiative to rehabilitate boreholes aligns seamlessly with President Lazarus Chakwera’s vision to provide safe drinking water to all Malawians. The cumulative impact of these efforts positions our nation on a promising path to achieving Sustainable Development Goal number six, ensuring universal access to clean water,” said Mia on her Facebook page.
