Malawi Congress Party Diaspora Network (MCPDN) chairperson Chalo Mvula says it is quite in perfect order that President Lazarus Chakwera is in the UK to attend the coronation today Saturday. Mvula trashed few voices in the country which did not see merit in attending the function.
“The UK has been with Malawi in good times and in challenging times, they have always been among the first to come to our rescue when our country faces challenges and this has gone on for years. It is only worth that we repay back this good gesture with our President attending King Charles’ coronation as the United Kingdom is that true friend of ours,” said Mvula.
Chakwera yesterday held a number of bilateral discussions with other foreign dignitaries on the sidelines of the coronation.
