I shall always remember Honourable JZU Tembo as a great man. He was courageous, had outstanding achievements and noble qualities.
He led a very strong and difficult opposition in the history of Malawi Parliament of 2004 – 2009 which I served, in a matured and professional manner. Despite tempers flying high in the August house, he managed and control proceedings for the interest of the Nation.
If corporate corridors were filled with men and women who possess the empathy, values and leadership of Right Honourable JZU Tembo, the world would be a better place.
We often pay tribute to people when they pass, however anybody that knew JZU would know that this great man was a living tribute to life, the embodiment of love, laughter and happiness. Whenever I think of JZU, l feel the love, joy and kindness.
To the family, I say my heartfelt condolences for the loss of your Dad, Uncle and Granny. I hope remembering good times shared with him will bring a smile to you every time you think of our lost hero.
May God comfort you during this troubled times.
