The forensic investigation into financial irregularities at Malawi’s Electricity Generation Company (EGENCO) has unearthed startling revelations: the former ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) allegedly coerced the parastatal into purchasing party attire, including Nsalu and t-shirts.
Civil Society Organizations, spearheaded by HRDC Chairperson Gift Trapence and Benedicto Kondowe, are demanding swift action against those implicated within EGENCO and the DPP, advocating for their arrest due to the abuse of authority.
