Just hours after their return to Salima, following their gracious treatment by Prophet Shepherd Bushiri, the US based Malawian boss-lady, known as Cha Cha, has joined the fray and committed to assisting the destitute family of the recently maize con tortured boy Precious Zamani with one million Kwacha.
Some have questioned why both Bushiri and Cha Cha are extending their help to the boy and his family. The answer lies not in rewarding any alleged theft that led to the boy’s plight, but rather in the harrowing poverty depicted in the circulated video.
It was truly distressing to hear the young boy, approximately 10 years old, express that he intended to roast and eat the alleged stolen maize cobs simply to alleviate his hunger and afford some rest at night.
Upon inviting them to Lilongwe, Prophet Bushiri provided them with clothing and groceries, and after thorough discussion, he pledged to ensure that Precious returns to a boarding school next term, considering that the current term is drawing to a close.
Adding to this benevolent act, Cha Cha will contribute one million kwacha to further alleviate the suffering of this impoverished family.
