Prophet Shepherd Bushiri Transforms Life of Salima Maize-Cob Tortured Boy

The transformed boy

Yesterday, a distressing video surfaced from the district of Salima, depicting a heart-breaking scene where three young boys subjected another boy who has been identified as Precious, aged between 10 to 12 years, to unspeakable torment. They alleged the boy had stolen some maize cobs he wanted to roast to sustain himself having taken days without taking a proper meal due to the prevailing hunger situation in the country.

These three infamous perpetrators, one of whom has been apprehended while the others remain at large, mercilessly tormented the boy, forcing him to consume raw maize and subjecting him to various degrading acts. This disturbing incident sheds light on the depths of cruelty that can manifest within our society.

Upon viewing the distressing footage, the esteemed philanthropist, Prophet Shepherd Bushiri, renowned for his compassionate endeavors in aiding impoverished and starving Malawians through widespread maize distribution, took swift action. He arranged for the impoverished boy and his mother to be brought to Lilongwe, where he provided them with new clothing and a plethora of essentials.

Speaking to the media at Pep stores in Lilongwe, Bushiri said Precious has a pathetic story and he knows what it means because he has passed through a poor background as well.

“He deserves some comfort for him to know that there are people who can support him in his life,” Bushiri said.

In addition to his immediate assistance, Bushiri has pledged ongoing support for the boy’s education, vowing to secure a place for him in a boarding school. The prophet has condemned the mistreatment of children in the country, emphasizing that safeguarding the well-being of children must remain the primary consideration for all.
