The Department of Immgration and citizenship services in the Northern Region has arrested a Cameroon National for attempting to procure a Malawian Passport at the Northern Regional Immigration office on 28 October,2021.
According to reports the suspect is staying in the country illegally without proper documents and wanted to apply for a Malawian Passport without following proper procedures.
He has been identified as Ernest Bahti, a resident in South Africa and will appear before the court soon to answer charges of Illegal entry.
