His Excellency Dr. Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera, President of the Republic of Malawi, has arrived at Limbe Country Club to host the 2024 Presidential Charity Golf Tournament.
Before the tournament commenced, participants observed a minute of silence in honor of the late Vice President Dr. Saulos Klaus Chilima.
The tournament, now in its third edition, began yesterday and has drawn over 180 golfers. It will follow the 2-ball better ball stableford format.
Proceeds from the initiative will support needy university students and Cyclone Freddy survivors.
