The Malawian leader President Lazarus Chakwera on Monday attended the 25th anniversary celebration of the Muslim World League, marking a quarter-century of service to Malawi. The event, held at BICC in Lilongwe, was honored by the presence of His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, Secretary General of the organization. The celebration highlighted the significant achievements of the league in improving the lives of Malawian communities.
“In that quarter of a century, the organisation has fostered sustainable development through timely humanitarian aid, healthcare, education infrastructure and bursaries, water sanitation and hygiene, interfaith dialogue and general social welfare. Going forward, my administration will always ensure that Malawi enhances collaboration with Muslim World League and other well- meaning organisations in building sustainable communities,” wrote President Chakwera on his Facebook page in celebrating the organisation.
