Zikhale keeps MCP structures live and kicking: Road to 2025

Zikhale Ng'oma

Ken Zikhale Ng’oma, the Director of Strategy for the Malawi Congress Party (MCP) and Minister of Homeland Security, has called upon the residents of Kasungu South East to maintain their support for the MCP and its leadership in order to ensure ongoing development. Speaking at a development rally held at Chamwabvi Primary School grounds in the area governed by Senior Chief Chilowamatambe in Kasungu, Zikhale Ng’oma emphasized the importance of allowing President Chakwera to continue implementing various development projects throughout the country.

Zikhale Ng’oma highlighted President Chakwera’s unwavering dedication to steering the country in the right direction, despite the numerous challenges faced. He pointed out that Malawi is currently witnessing a surge in development initiatives that benefit the entire population. Echoing this sentiment, Catherine Gotani Hara, the MCP Deputy Secretary General and Speaker of the National Assembly, encouraged the people to register in large numbers when the Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) opens the voter registration exercise. This would ensure their eligibility to vote in the upcoming elections.

During the rally, Khumbize Kandondo Chiponda, the Member of Parliament for Kasungu South East, assured her constituents that the Affordable Inputs Program (AIP) for the next growing season would commence promptly. Furthermore, Patrick Zebron Chilondola, the MCP Regional Chairperson for the central region, urged the residents of Kasungu South East to continue supporting their parliamentarian so that she could continue delivering various development projects in the area.

Notable attendees at the rally included Minister of Gender Jean Sendeza, Minister of Education Madalitso Kambauwa Wirima, Members of Parliament, and local chiefs.
