Comrades, where are you? Why are you so quiet on social media while our President, Lazarus Chakwera, is out here fighting for the future of Malawi? Yes, the economy is tough, and we all agree. But let’s not pretend the President isn’t doing everything in his power to turn things around! The recent firing of Sosten Gwengwe and the appointment of Vitumbiko Mumba are clear examples that Chakwera is making bold moves to fix the situation.
Look around, comrades. President Chakwera has done incredible work in many areas. Our roads are improving, water infrastructure is growing, education is being supported—especially for needy students—and electricity is stable. Remember the days of endless blackouts under the DPP? Gone. Remember the horrors of albino killings? Gone. Rampant corruption? Gone. Tribalism at its worst? Also gone. No more quota system oppressing the north, which Chakwera abolished! Malawi is finally a country for all tribes, not just one.
Do you recall the fuel crisis we had? How did Chakwera respond? He worked tirelessly to find a solution, and today, fuel scarcity is no longer an issue. The same will happen with the economy—Chakwera is relentless in his pursuit of solutions. Yet, where are you, MCP youths, to defend these achievements? Why are you hiding and letting the opposition dictate the narrative?
When we speak facts, all the DPP cadets and UTM youths can do is resort to vulgar language because they have no response to the truth. It’s sad to see our own MCP pages filled with insults toward the President, and you’re not even defending him! Where is your fire? Where is your loyalty? You have the facts on your side—don’t let a few voices drown out the truth. Yes, there are media teams, but social media dominance cannot be won by just a few individuals. It requires all of you, every MCP youth, to rise and fight.
Remember, in 2020, we won partly because of the Saulos Chilima effect. But that was then. Now we are in power, and you cannot afford to remain inactive. Winning elections takes hard work, and you need to fight for it. Don’t let the opposition dictate the narrative. MCP youths, wake up and take control! You must show strength, unity, and determination on social media. If you don’t, you’ll be making life harder for our President.
As you do your part, let’s also call on those in government to do theirs. Fix the economy—people are hurting, and we need solutions. But if we can fix these problems, why shouldn’t the people vote us back into power in September 2025?
MCP youths, you must also hold your own leaders accountable. If a minister is not performing, demand change! Time is running out, and we can’t afford deadwood in government. This is your responsibility—to highlight the successes of our regime and to go on the offensive. DPP is weak, and now is the time to strike. Remind the people that Peter Mutharika is 84 years old—far too old to run this country again! Remind them that APM was fired by the people for sleeping on the job while his bodyguard Chisale and his wife Getrude ran the show.
Don’t let the DPP cadets break your spirits. Break theirs! We have the best candidate—Chakwera. They have the worst. Hit them hard with slogans like “No to Elderly Abuse” and “Ine Nkhalamba Toto.” If you let them dominate social media, you’re laying the groundwork for violence in 2025 because, make no mistake, Lazarus Chakwera will win. And when he does, these angry cadets will become even more dangerous. Don’t let them hallucinate that Mutharika is coming back!
This is a call to arms, comrades. 𝑾𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒖𝒑, 𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒆 𝒖𝒑, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒅𝒆𝒇𝒆𝒏𝒅 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒚 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑷𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕! The future of Malawi depends on you.
