UTM Turns Chilima’s Death Into a Campaign Show — Dr. Ben Chilima says “Enough!”

Kabambe

UTM, under Dalitso Kabambe, has gone too far — and now the whole country is watching in shock. The party is being slammed for using the death of Dr. Saulos Klaus Chilima as a campaign tool, and not even the late Vice President’s family is staying silent.

Dr. Ben Chilima, the brother of the late Veep, has strongly told UTM to stop dragging the family into politics. “We’re planning a private memorial,” he said. “We asked them to stay away, but they keep pushing their selfish agenda.”

This is the second time the family has called UTM out. During a church memorial in Nsipe, they said the same thing. Still, UTM keeps going — announcing fake plans for a memorial pillar they can’t even afford. Sources say the party is too broke to build anything.

While UTM is busy planning rallies and candlelight events to fish for votes, Malawians remember one thing: these same people didn’t even show up when Dr. Chilima’s widow launched his foundation.

On social media, people are calling it what it is — using death for dirty politics. Meanwhile, the government is building a real national monument to honor all crash victims with respect and unity.

UTM is not mourning. UTM is campaigning. And people are tired of it.
