After being humiliated 1-0 by minions Dedza Salima Sugar FC in the TNM Super League recently, the FCB Nyasa Big Bullets on Sunday were back on its winning ways when they advanced to the Airtel Top 8 final by defeating Blue Eagles 3-2 at Bingu National Stadium. The goals for Bullets were scored by Hassan Kajoke, Lanjesi Nkhoma, and Ephraim Kondowe, while Christopher Gototo and Richard Rapson found the net for Blue Eagles.
With this victory, Bullets will now await the outcome of the match between Mafco and the winner of the Silver Strikers/Mighty Mukuru Wanderers clash to determine their opponent in the final. Although Mafco has already secured a spot in the semifinals, the outcome of the match between Silver Strikers and Mighty Mukuru Wanderers will determine who advances to face Bullets in the Airtel Top 8 final.
