Newton Kambala fires shots at ‘uncle’ Dalitso Kabambe who wants to steal UTM

UTM veteran member Newton Kambala has fired shots at Dr Dalitso Kabambe whom he described as an ‘uncle’ looking forward to inherit the UTM as someone who is not qualified for the UTM Presidency.

Said Kambala:

“Allow me to share a story. There was a family where a father fell gravely ill and eventually passed on. To the shock of his children, a distant man, an uncle to the children—who had previously shown no concern or willingness to assist the ailing father— emerged from nowhere and started weeping uncontrollably. His sudden display of grief was not out of genuine sorrow but rather a calculated move to claim the family’s inheritance—property grabbing.”

He urged the UTM family to remain vigilant and not to entrust the party to someone who appears to be an opportunist, insinuating that Dr. Dalitso Kabambe may be a proxy for Peter Mutharika’s DPP, with intentions of facilitating a covert alliance to benefit DPP by redirecting crucial votes.

Kabambe is yet to speak and we will see how he will respond to this direct attack.
