The Ministry of Local Government has reported the passing of Senior Chief Malili in Lilongwe. Dr. Lawford Palani, the District Commissioner for Lilongwe, stated that Senior Chief Malili was involved in a fatal road accident on Friday at Kambanizithe in Mitundu, Lilongwe.
According to an official notice from the district’s Director of Administration, the late Senior Chief Malili, also known as Luciano Chatsenda, passed away at the age of 55. He is survived by a wife and six children.
The burial is scheduled for Tuesday at his Chiwenga headquarters in Lilongwe district.
