In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Secretary to the President and cabinet, Colleen Zamba, announced that President Lazarus Chakwera of Malawi will be present at the funeral service of Honorable Daniel Chiwere, the Member of Parliament for Dedza Central Constituency.
The burial is scheduled to take place on Thursday in Kalinyeke, Dedza. President Chakwera’s attendance at the ceremony demonstrates his compassionate nature and his commitment to leading the Malawi Congress Party and the entire nation of Malawi.
Honorable Daniel Chiwere passed away earlier this week after a brief illness while receiving treatment at Kamuzu Central Hospital.
