Malawi leader Chakwera says God needed at ‘national and personal level’

President Chakwera said Malawi needs God at the national level and that citizens also need God at a personal level by repenting of their sins and looking up to him during this time of Cyclone Freddy Crisis which has killed many people in the southern part of Malawi. Chakwera said this during the Eminent Persons Forum organized by the Evangelical Association of Malawi at Crossroads Hotel in Lilongwe.

Speaking earlier, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye of Nigeria, shared the Word of God from Mark 4:35-41 and asked people to surrender their lives to God, saying that tomorrow might be too late. Pastor Adeboye, prayed for Malawi to be free of problems. He said that storms don’t give notice and therefore, what matters most is to make sure people have Jesus Christ to turn to when crisis hit.
