KASUNGU-A Human Resources Manager working for a Kasungu based community radio station, Kasungu FM, John Kambikwa has died after allegedly being assaulted when he was trying to resolve marital dispute involving his niece and her husband.
Kasungu police spokesperson, Joseph Kachikho says Kambikwa, 41 died at Kamuzu Central Hospital today where he was rushed for treatment.
Police say Kambikwa was called by his niece to come to settle a marital dispute with her husband, Amosi Nkhoma but the husband and his friend allegedly started assaulting him.
Meanwhile, police have arrested the two suspects ,Amosi Nkhoma, 24, from Juma village, Traditional Authority Kaomba in Kasungu District and Moses Mhango, 20, from Kawemba village, Traditional Authority Mwahenga in Rumphi District.
