Reggae artist Luciano from Jamaica yesterday contributed K1 million to the Rastafari Family for the building of a tabernacle at the construction site in Area 17 in the capital Lilongwe.
Luciano known as the Messenger in music circles was accompanied by Everton Blender.
“We pledge our commitment to provide finances for the completion of the project,” Luciano said.
Priest for the Rastafari Tabernacle, Fred Mwanamanga, described Luciano’s gesture as a true symbol of love in the Rastafari Family.
