The pressure is mounting, and the world for the former Director General for the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), Reyneck Matemba, is shrinking narrower.
The High Court in Lilongwe has granted the ACB’s request to bring witnesses from the UK’s National Crimes Agency to testify in the case.
Matemba, is answering charges of improper dealings in awarding a contract to Zunneth Sattar’s Xavier Limited.
Simultaneously, the initial witness from the UK Crimes Agency Authority has commenced presenting their testimony.
This authority played a pivotal role in uncovering the corruption scandal involving Sattar and high-ranking government officials, including the Vice President.
