Patricia Kainga Nangozo, a seasoned politician and former legislator for Zomba Central Constituency, has revealed her intention to compete for the Member of Parliament position in the upcoming 2025 elections. Nangozo made this announcement during a rally she organized at Zilondo ground in the City.
Zomba Central Constituency is considered a stronghold of the opposition Democratic Progressive Party. However, Nangozo’s experience and political acumen are seen as factors that could potentially help the Malawi Congress Party gain ground in the region in the 2025 elections.
