Veteran broadcaster and actor Hope Chisanu has passed away in the United States, Sharon Machinjiri has confirmed.
Throughout his career, Chisanu was associated with the Malawi Broadcasting Corporation and starred in notable films such as “The Last Fishing Boat” and “The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind.” Chisanu hailed from the Kamphata area in Lilongwe.
“As a broadcaster and master of ceremonies, Chisanu excelled, but in the realm of politics, he was terrible,” remarked Jonathan Phiri on the streets of Lilongwe. “May his soul rest in peace.”
