“These three; Education, Water and Sanitation, as well as Food Security are very important to us as Northern Region and out country at large. We will soon come again here for inauguration of other projects your government is initiating in this region to uplift the development of the North” Said President Chakwera.

In his remarks, Harry Mlekanjala Mkandawire, the Vice President of the Malawi Congress Party who is also the Minister of Defence, remarked that the enthusiastic reception President Chakwera received in the region is a clear indication of the region’s satisfaction with Chakwera’s leadership and their readiness to support him for a second term until 2030.
