In a bold and spirited declaration, the newly appointed Legal Advisor for the Malawi Congress Party (MCP), George Jivason Kadzipatike, has confidently predicted that President Lazarus Chakwera will undoubtedly clinch victory in the 2025 elections. Speaking during an exclusive Sunday night interview with Brian Banda on Times TV, Kadzipatike, a dynamic 43-year-old Lawyer who aspires to represent Dowa Kasangadzi Constituency in Parliament next year, asserted that despite inevitable challenges, the nation is on an upward trajectory under Chakwera’s leadership.
Kadzipatike passionately highlighted the wave of infrastructure developments sweeping across the country, a testament to Chakwera’s commitment to progress. He also pointed out the absence of prolonged strikes as evidence of the President’s adherence to the rule of law and effective governance.
Reflecting on his party, Kadzipatike expressed regret over the legal turmoil surrounding the recent convention, acknowledging the party’s dangerous flirtation with a Supreme Court appeal, only to backtrack later. To prevent such debacles in the future, he vowed to establish a dedicated subcommittee within the party’s legal affairs to swiftly resolve internal disputes before they escalate to the courts.
