The winds of victory are blowing strong through Lilongwe Mude, and Dr. Mphatso Boti—Member of Parliament for Lilongwe South West and MCP’s torchbearer for the new constituency—has declared the area a guaranteed zone of support for President Lazarus Chakwera.
Addressing a charged rally at Chifuka Primary School Ground, Boti did not mince words.
“We are 54,000 strong in this constituency—and I believe all these voters will stand with President Chakwera in the September elections,” he declared, drawing wild applause.
The message is clear: this is no ordinary campaign season. MCP foot soldiers—MPs, councillors, party loyalists—are on the ground daily, knocking doors, holding rallies, and organizing community meetings to make sure Chakwera crosses the finish line victorious.
Lilongwe Mude, it seems, has made up its mind: Chakwera all the way.
