A solemn funeral ceremony for Ralph Kasambara was held at his residence in Nyambadwe, Blantyre, where a diverse array of mourners gathered to honor the former Attorney General and Justice Minister.
Among the prominent attendees were Natural Resources and Climate Change Minister Michael Usi, Vice Chancellor of the Catholic University Professor Ngeyi Kanyongolo, and Malawi Law Society President Patrick Mpaka.
Following the ceremony, a funeral service will be held at St. Montfort Catholic Parish. The body will then be transported to Nkhata Bay for burial tomorrow.
Kasambara passed away in a lodge in Lilongwe, where he was found amidst drugs and various alcoholic beverages. An autopsy revealed that he succumbed to heart failure.
