There has been a significant change within the Bushiri organization, as Aubrey Kusakala has assumed the role of Public Relations Officer for Prophet Shepherd Bushiri, replacing Ephraim Nyondo.
Shire Times has learned that Nyondo’s departure from this role is primarily because he is pursuing further education. However, specific details about Nyondo’s study destination, program, and academic level remain limited.
The absence of clear information has prompted certain individuals to theorize that the statement regarding Nyondo’s departure serves as a courteous manner of letting him go, much like the situation where Brian Banda was let go. In Brian Banda’s case, the government had initially stated that he was going on a study leave to China, but upon his return, he unexpectedly found himself working at Times TV in Blantyre. This effectively amounted to his dismissal from his role as Presidential Press aide.
In a statement released yesterday broke the new that he had appointed Mr. Aubrey Kusakala as acting Public Relations Officer effective today the 3rd of October, 2023.
“Mr. Kusakala will be acting on the position on behalf of Mr. Ephraim Nyondo who has recently left the post to further his studies. All communication as regards to the office of the prophet and the church should be channeled to Mr Kusakala through the following numbers. +265999194860 or +265888211811,” concludes the statement.
