Malawi’s Vice President, Saulos Chilima, commended Reverend Bizwick Nkhoma of the Church of Central Africa Presbyterian (CCAP) Nkhoma Synod for his dedicated service to the Lord as a reverend for two decades. Speaking at the celebration of Nkhoma’s 20th anniversary at Kaning’a CCAP in the Capital Lilongwe yesterday, Chilima expressed his satisfaction in witnessing Reverend Nkhoma’s remarkable 20-year commitment to God’s service.
Chilima encouraged Nkhoma to continue his service to God and the community, highlighting the importance of emulating Nkhoma’s dedication for other reverends seeking to achieve similar milestones in their ministry.
In response, Reverend Nkhoma shared that his 20-year journey as a reverend had its share of challenges, as the ministry often requires individuals to carry their own burdens, following the path of Christ. However, he expressed gratitude for the abundant grace and assistance he received along the way, acknowledging that it was the Lord’s help that brought him this far, leading him to declare, “Ebenezer, the Lord has helped us.”
Reverend Nkhoma also offered advice to young individuals engaged in God’s ministry, emphasizing the importance of continuous learning as they pursue the work of God in their own ministries.
It’s worth noting that Reverend Nkhoma embarked on his journey as a reverend in 2003
