The recently released results of the Primary School Leaving Certificate Examinations (PSLCE) indicate an improved performance compared to the previous year. Out of the 267,330 candidates who took the exams, 234,644 candidates passed, resulting in a pass rate of 87.77%. This is an enhancement from last year’s achievement of an 84.24% pass rate.
According to the Malawi National Examination Board (MANEB), the top-performing districts in the country, ranked in descending order, are Nkhata Bay, Zomba Urban, Rumphi, Mzuzu City, Phalombe, Likoma, Zomba Rural, Mulanje, Dedza, and Thyolo.
