Lilongwe Police arrested two teachers yesterday for allegedly writing Primary School Leaving Certificate of Education (PSLCE) exams on behalf of 17 candidates.

A spokesperson for Lilongwe Police Station Hastings Chigalu confirmed to Zodiak Online saying the cheating was done at Mtsindo Examination Centre in Lilongwe Rural West and it was discovered during marking of the exams.

The suspects have been identified as Aaron Kalindang’oma and Patrcio Kathumba.

He said two more teachers will be arrested in connection to the issue.

PSLCE exams were administered in September this year under tight security by both Malawi Police and Malawi Defence Force.
