Big Shock in Dowa: All PSLCE Pupils at Sindeya School Disqualified

A huge shock has hit Dowa after all 178 pupils from Sindeya Primary School were disqualified from this year’s Primary School Leaving Certificate Examinations (PSLCE).

The pupils — 93 girls and 85 boys — were all given “X” in every subject, meaning they have no results at all. The headteacher, Steven Daus, told Shire Times that no one has explained why the whole school was disqualified.

The school has reported the issue to education authorities for help. But the Malawi National Examinations Board (MANEB) says the school must first write them officially if they want to know the reason behind this shocking decision.
